East Linden Slope Stabilization
This $1 million project was contracted under Columbus City Schools to repair a slide behind East Linden Elementary. The terain was rough and the site was ecologically sensitive, as the creek onsite drained directly into Alum Creek. The stream had to be diverted while the slope was stablized and the bottom of the creek rebuilt to prevent future erosion. 2300 tons of rip rap, along with new landscaping, now line this 500 ft long section of stream.
